Glue Method (VenaSeal Procedure)

In this treatment method, access to the vein is performed under ultrasound guidance. It can be done under local or general anesthesia or by anesthetizing the waist. The cyanoacrylate substance is advanced to the junction of the superficial and deep vein system with the help of a catheter under ultrasound guidance. After the junction is completely closed with pressure and is prevented from escaping into the deep system, injection is made slowly and the catheter is withdrawn while external pressure is applied to the vein route. The patient is discharged after a few hours in the hospital.
